Yasaman Yaghoubi
Yasaman Yaghoubi, through the visual language of watercolor, reflects her inner world in the mirror of life’s impermanence a world filled with softness, restlessness, and fleeting moments that emerge in the absence of time. In her works, the interplay of free yet controlled brushstrokes and transparent layers of color evokes a sense of suspended time and fragile memory. A moment of a flower’s bloom like a spark in existence before its withering, and even after, is captured on paper; a brief instant that, through its inscription, gains a kind of immortality.
The flowers in her paintings are not mere images; they are metaphors for life itself: brief, radiant, beautiful, and mortal ephemeral as a necessity for being alive. She sees life as a fleeting spark in the vastness of existence, and in each artwork, she seeks to record, honor, and celebrate this short but magnificent burst of brilliance.
She paints a world that surrounds us, one born from the passage of her soul, her descent through inner layers, and her pursuit of the unconscious. It is a world seen through a feminine gaze, expressed with delicacy and an unfiltered, intimate language.
Yasaman leaves herself on paper through water and color unmasked, just as she is in the simultaneity of seeing and being. With each brushstroke, she strives to preserve a moment slipping away; and in doing so, she reimagines existence itself.
About Me
Events and Exhibitions
Yasaman Yaghoubi, a master of architecture and a professional painter, has cultivated a deeply personal and unique visual language through years of experience in watercolor and Persian miniature painting. Her works are not merely technical achievements but inner narratives of human emotions and fleeting moments—poetic experiences of time, decay, and beauty.
For her, painting is a way of seeing, feeling, and reliving what cannot be spoken. Her artworks have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions both in Iran and internationally.
